Phoenix Rising Financial Consulting

Your past does not set the terms for your financial future

Whether you need this year's taxes handled correctly, a clear plan for understanding and using credit well, or the systems to turn your business into something built to last, the path starts with knowing which one is yours.

Where most people start

Confusion is common. Staying confused is the expensive part.

Tax season arrives and the questions pile up. A credit report reads like a foreign language. An idea for a business stays an idea because the back-end feels impossible to build alone. None of that means something is wrong with you, it means no one ever walked you through it clearly.

Filing feels like guesswork

Deductions you may be missing, forms you're not sure apply, and a nagging feeling you're leaving money on the table or exposed to a problem later.

Credit feels like a locked room

You've seen the ads promising fast fixes. What you actually want is to understand how the system works so you can make your own informed decisions.

The business idea stalls at "how"

You know your craft. What's missing is the CRM, the funnel, the follow-up, the pricing, the unglamorous systems that let a business actually run.

The Other Side Of Confused

None of that has to stay true.

Filing, credit, and building a business all feel harder than they should usually because no one ever laid out what's actually true versus what just sounds true.

Take filing. It's tempting to assume a simple return doesn't need a preparer. But simple returns still miss credits, deductions, and filing status choices that change your outcome and a wrong assumption can follow you for years.

Take credit. You've seen the ads promising a company can permanently remove accurate negative items from your report. Accurate information can't legally be deleted. What can change is how well you understand and manage your profile going forward, which is what we teach.

Take the business idea that's stalled at "how." It's easy to assume you need investors or a large loan to make it real. Most stalled businesses aren't missing capital, they're missing the systems, like a CRM, funnel, and follow-up, that let the offer you already have actually convert.

Set The Record Straight

A few things worth unlearning

before you start.

Some of the most common beliefs about taxes, credit, and business funding aren't true and they tend to be the exact beliefs keeping people stuck. Take the idea that a company can permanently remove accurate negative items from your credit report. Accurate information can't legally be deleted. What can change is how well you understand and manage your profile going forward, which is what we teach.

Or the assumption that if your taxes are simple, a preparer isn't worth the cost. Simple returns still miss credits, deductions, and filing status choices that change your outcome — and a wrong assumption can follow you for years. Then there's the belief that you need investors or a large loan to build a real online business. Most stalled businesses aren't missing capital — they're missing the systems, like a CRM, funnel, and follow-up, that let the offer they already have actually convert.Unlearning these is easier with someone who's spent over a decade in the middle of them.

Meet Nikkita

No fluff. No confusion. Just clear guidance you can actually use.

For more than eleven years, Nikkita Houston has worked alongside individuals, families, and entrepreneurs navigating complicated financial systems, helping them move through setbacks instead of staying stuck in them. She's sat across from clients who felt overwhelmed, denied, or unsure where to even begin, and helped them trade that uncertainty for a plan.

Today, that work spans tax preparation, financial education, and the business systems that let entrepreneurs build something structured enough to grow. The approach doesn't change based on which door you walk through: understand the real picture first, then build the strategy around it.

How We Work

What this is, and what it

deliberately isn't.

What this is, and what it deliberately isn't.

A lot of businesses in this space promise outcomes they can't ethically guarantee.

Here's exactly where Phoenix Rising stands.

This is

  • Tax preparation done accurately and explained clearly

  • Financial and credit education you can apply yourself

  • Coaching that builds your own decision-making skills

  • Business systems and mentorship for entrepreneurs

  • A long-term relationship, not a one-time transaction

This isn't

  • Credit repair, credit dispute filing, or removal services

  • A guarantee of a specific credit score or approval outcome

  • Legal or investment advice

  • A guarantee of income or business results

  • A quick fix — the education is the strategy

Choose Your Path

Three ways to work with Phoenix Rising. One of them fits where you are right now.

These aren't tiers of the same package, they're three different starting points. Read each one with your own situation in mind, not which sounds most impressive.

Ready When You Are

Start with where you actually are today.

One real conversation is enough to find out which path fits even if that means recommending something simpler than you expected. From there, every plan opens with an honest look at your actual picture, not a template, and stays with you through sessions, resources, and follow-up instead of handing you a PDF and walking away. Eleven-plus years across three focus areas, built around you, not a program.

Questions Worth Answering Upfront

Answers before you ask

How do I know which path is right for me?

If you need a return filed this year, start with tax preparation. If you want to understand and strengthen your overall financial picture, the Phoenix Premiere Package is built for that. If you already have a business or offer and need the systems behind it, the Elite Mentorship is the fit. Unsure? Reach out and we'll tell you honestly.

Can I do more than one path?

Yes, many clients start with tax preparation or the Premiere Package and move into mentorship once their business idea is ready to be built out. Nothing here requires you to choose once and never revisit it.

What results can I expect?

Accurate, correctly filed returns; a clearer understanding of your finances and credit; and, for entrepreneurs, a business with real systems behind it. What we don't offer is a guaranteed score, approval, or income figure, those depend on many factors outside any consultant's control.

Do you work with clients outside your state?

Yes. Tax preparation, coaching, and mentorship are all available virtually, so location isn't a barrier to starting.

What if I only need help with one thing, not a full program?

That's what tax preparation is for, a focused, one-time engagement with no expectation that you enroll in anything ongoing.

I'm nervous about being judged for my financial situation. Should I be?

No. Every client starts somewhere, and the ones who've felt the most overwhelmed are often the ones this was built for.
